Limited Submissions - These are external funding opportunities that restrict the number of proposals an applicant or institution may submit to a particular solicitation. The Office of Research administers the limited submission process for UCF.

UCF Internal/Partnership Programs - To support and encourage research endeavors of UCF research faculty, the Office of Research offers a variety of internal and partnership funding opportunities.

Targeted Research Alerts (TRAs) - UCF faculty can sign up for weekly funding opportunity alerts matching strategically identified UCF research areas and criteria.

DoD (Air Force, Army, DARPA, Navy) Early Career Funding Opportunities -Recurring. Summary information is included about these programs for early career investigators. These programs are intended to support researchers' growth and help lead to additional DoD research funding support.

Pivot Funding Opportunity Database - This online resource has current funding opportunities from international, federal, state, and private sponsors, and is available to UCF faculty, staff, and students at no cost. Searches can be automated for weekly updates of new matching opportunities.

Grants.gov - View opportunities from all federal agencies.

Contract Opportunities (formerly called FedBizOpps) – View contract opportunities from the federal government.

State of Florida Funding – Find opportunities at the Florida Department of State website or use this Pivot saved search to view all current State of Florida funding opportunities.

Private Foundation Funding - The Private Foundation Tool Kit includes information on various private foundation funding databases and resources.
