
Marcos Tzannes leads Business Development for Physical Sciences in the Office of Technology Transfer. He specializes in evaluating physical sciences technologies for patentability, commercialization potential, and business development opportunities, as well as building early-stage physical sciences ventures. He holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UCF. Before joining UCF, Marcos worked in industry as an engineer and inventor designing digital communications systems for a company he co-founded, where he also managed the company’s patent portfolio. He is an inventor on hundreds of US and international patents and is a Registered Patent Agent with the USPTO.
