Lead Entrepreneur-in-Residence

Kelli is the lead Entrepreneur-in-Residence at UCF Innovate and works closely with the Office of Technology Transfer and UCF Ventures, where she supports university-based venture development. She previously held a similar role with UF Ventures. She is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience spanning healthcare, technology, and affordable housing. A proud Central Floridian, she has held key roles with organizations such as AdventHealth and Pfizer, and brings deep expertise in SaaS sales, corporate innovation, angel investing, and entrepreneurial ventures. Her career has been defined by a commitment to people empowerment, investible technologies, and community-based innovation.

In 2014, Kelli founded MedSpeaks, an innovation services firm and startup collaborative, and co-founded Health Innovators, a nonprofit network connecting health leaders and entrepreneurs—achieving over 2,000 members across five cities and two states. She is also a co-founder of OtherStreet Ventures, which operates at the intersection of affordable senior housing and technology.

Her corporate background includes serving as Head of Innovation at a global data and device company (now Pfizer), where she helped lead the divestiture of a $140M asset portfolio.

In addition to her professional work, Kelli is an active angel investor, TEDx speaker, startup advisor, organ donor, and homesteader. She holds a degree from Stetson University and is an alumna of the MIT Sloan School of Management.
