Annual Report 2025-26<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

July 2025 to June 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025\u20132026 academic year marked a period of growth, innovation, and collective impact for the UCF Center for the Study of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery. HTMS expanded its work beyond traditional education by launching innovative trauma-informed simulations, advancing technology-driven strategies to disrupt human trafficking demand, strengthening awareness and response efforts at Orlando International Airport, and expanding national and international partnerships. The Center also deepened its commitment to recognizing lived experience as expertise by meaningfully integrating and compensating survivors for their contributions to research, education, and program development. With more than 6,700 students educated since 2020 and a growing portfolio of applied research and community initiatives, HTMS continues to turn knowledge into action and build collaborative solutions to prevent human trafficking and support survivors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Annual Report 2024-25<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

August 2024 to June 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UCF Center for the Study of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery at Rosen College has built on its momentum with another year of growth and impact. More than 6,300 students have now been trained to recognize and report trafficking in hospitality, and the Center has strengthened community prevention through youth leader programs and awareness events. Globally, new partnerships with ECPAT International advanced industry-specific training for tour guides, while locally, the student group Knights of the RELM earned national recognition at the Liberator Awards. From impactful conferences to expanded collaborations, the Center continues to drive change in the fight against modern slavery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Annual Report 2023-24<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

January 2023 to July 2024 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UCF Center for the Study of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery at Rosen College has made remarkable strides in its mission to combat human trafficking. Over the past year, the Center has educated over 5,700 students on recognizing and reporting trafficking in the hospitality industry and expanded its global partnerships with more than 20 countries. From significant research studies to impactful workshops, the Center is leading change in the fight against modern slavery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
