NSF Features Seal Zeolite Surprise

The National Science Foundation is featuring a story about UCF research Sudipta Seal’s discovery while working with a rapid response grant to clean up the Gulf oil spill.   Seal, who is the director of the NanoScience Technology Center and Advanced Materials Processing Analysis, and fellow researcher Larry Hench were able to create zeolites that remove oil from polluted water and return the oil to the processing plant.
