Janice Turchin, CIP IRB Staff Member Office of Research & Commercialization University of Central Florida Previous Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine IRB member

Janice Turchin joined the UCF IRB in June of 2006. Previously, she was employed by Penn State University College of Medicine for eight years. During that time she held several positions in the College of Medicine IRB office including an administrative support role and supervisor of staff assistants, which lead to the position of Research Compliance Coordinator. In the latter role, she served as a IRB Member reviewing and approving initial expedited and exempt studies including continuing reviews. Ms. Turchin received her CIP certification in March of 2008.
