Autonomous Squad Member    


 

Description:

This experiment can take approximately 2 hours to complete. You will be paid to the nearest half hour rounding up. For example, if you participate for an hour and thirty five minutes you will be paid for 2 hours. The purpose of this study is to determine how humans can effectively analyze visual information presented on an interface. First you will be given an introduction, tested for color vision, asked to complete several computer and paper surveys, and given a training and evaluation session to help familiarize you with the task for the experiment. The training session will be very similar to the experimental session. Once this is complete, you will play the role of a dismounted soldier tasked with relaying autonomous agent information to your squad based on what you see on the display. You will complete several missions throughout the experiment. Study Restrictions: Age: 18 - 40 years US Citizenship Required No Color Deficiencies. Please bring a valid mailing address with you to ensure that you get paid.
