Systems Administrator with ORC’s Info. Technology Dept. #42409
Primary Duty: Computers, Networks, and Datacenter technical support for the Office of Research and Commercialization (ORC) and associated organizations. Position reports to Assistant Director Operations & Help Desk Services and/or Director, Research Information Systems and/or Associate VP for Research. Coordinate with the Senior Systems Administrator in installing, monitoring and analyzing the performance of multiple computer systems in the ORC Datacenters, including: backup systems, servers, specialized applications, security systems, Domain Name Systems, and Windows Domains Controllers. Recommends policies and procedures for the continuous operation of all systems in all Datacenters. Recommend and implement policies for designing and installing systems and procedures to assure: (1) cyber-security of all data on the datacenter, and (2) the ability to recover all datacenter data if a disaster where to strike. Maintain systems (Microsoft, Linux) and network services (e.g. DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, Print, Antivirus, etc).

Program Assistant with the Daytona Beach/Volusia Business Incubator #42418
Assists in the daily operation of the Daytona Beach Business Incubator. Daily interaction with the incubator service providers. Direct support to the Site Manager of the Business Incubator. Responsible for incubator client routing and coordinating telephone systems, ordering supplies and managing inventory for the site. Point of contact for visitors and coordinate meetings and scheduling of events for the facility. Track use of the facility. Conducts tours for potential new clients. Coordinate business event registration including handling credit card transactions. Responsible for setting up client training facilities and equipment. Schedule meetings for the site clients and managers. Prepares meeting rooms and maintains their use. Responsible for preparing training materials for use by clients and outside vendors. Create and present power point presentations for facility training and public relations. Distribute promotional material about the business center. Coordinate mass mailings and group wide mass e-mails.
