The Office of Research & Commercialization is committed to training and outreach on all topics of research compliance as a service to our faculty and research staff.
Compliance Presentations
The Office of Research & Commercialization (ORC) has implemented its Summer Compliance Presentation Program. Presentations will be offered in two-hour clusters at various times on various days across campus to accommodate the schedules of attendees. “Cluster 1” will cover “What is Time & Effort”, Cost Transfers, and Audits. “Cluster 2” will cover the Closeout Process, Closeouts: Fixed Price Residuals, and Cost Share.
Presentations will be held on the following dates and times:
May 12th, Tuesday, 1pm-3pm @ College of Science, Room 221 — Presentation Cluster 2 — Close Outs, Fixed Price Residuals, and Cost Sharing
May 21st, Thursday, 1pm-3pm @ University Tower, Suite 500 — Presentation Cluster 1 — Time and Effort, Cost Transfers, and Audit
It is encouraged that all Principal Investigators, Co-Principal Investigators, Research Associates, College/Departmental administrators and staff, and all others who are involved in conducting or administering research attend these sessions.

Ongoing Training
The Office of Research and Commercialization is planning an enhanced training and outreach initiative. We would like to solicit your input in the development and implementation of a broad training program for the conduct of research and grant activity at the University of Central Florida. We have evaluated training programs at other universities, and look forward to implementing a training schedule that will be responsive to you, our clients.
