IRB Membership Representation


Patria Davis joined the UCF IRB in September of 2011. Previously she was employed by a private investigative site in the Orlando area as lead inpatient Clinical Research Coordinator. During that time she facilitated research training and education for hospital clinical and auxiliary personnel and managed laboratory procedures. Patria also oversaw many administrative and operational responsibilities for inpatient Phase II and III Psychiatric drug trials. She received Certified IRB Professional (CIP) certification in September 2013, ICH & GCP (International Conference on Harmonization & Good Clinical Practice) certification in 2008 and has attended PRIM&R and other clinical research and human research ethics training in recent years. Patria has a B.S. from The University of Central Florida. She also obtained a Master’s of Science degree in Pharmacy with concentration in Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy, specialty track Clinical Research Regulation & Ethics, from The University of Florida.
